Why is my campaign group not getting my emails?
The most likely reason is that you are using the wrong email address for the group. The name before the @ must match the campaign name and be properly formatted, using dashes for spaces. So the campaign “a walk in the park” would become a-walk-in-the-park@Character-Journals.com
You also must be a member of the campaign and be sending the message from the email address you used when you signed up.

Why do I get a sorry email when emailing a campaign?
This is usually caused by the system not recognizing the email address you are sending the message from. The email address the message is sent from must match the one you used to sign up for your account on this system. Otherwise, it does not recognize you as a member of the campaign and will not pass on your message.

How do I set or change my profile picture?
Click on the profile menu item and then click on the grey gear icon on the right side of the page. This will put your profile into edit mode. You can then click on your profile image and select upload photo. While you are there you can upload a banner image and fill out the rest of your profile so others can learn more about you.

What does it mean to favorite a Journal?
Journals that are favorited will show up in your My Journals page in the favorites section. You only need to favorite other peoples journals when you want an easy way to find them in the future.

How do I change my Journal’s cover image, name, or description?
How do I delete my journal?
From the My Journals page select the Edit link below the journal image. At the bottom left of the Edit page is the Delete link. If you are sure you want to delete your journal and all of its entries type the word delete in the form and submit it.

If I cancel my subscription what happens to my content?
Your content still remains on the site and you still have access to edit or remove it. However, content connected to an unpaid account may be removed after 7 years at the discretion of management.

Why do I have to pay?
Mostly it is to keep russian hackers from ruining the site with spam, but having a personal investment in something also motivates people to follow the rules.
