By lunchtime today we reached the keep of the Steel Enclave that the others belong to and got a free lunch. Then the leader of the keep wanted to see me. He punched me in the face and then asked if I wanted to join as the others in the group had. I of course declined his offer. I am not really one to join a cause especially when the invitation includes getting punched. The commander did help the wizard retrieve his animated doll friend that he forgot at the inn using a teleport spell. I am not sure what to make of her but she seems nice.
After leaving the keep we came upon a waterfall and pool that was not listed on the map so we went to fill our water-skins and was accosted by some water creature in the pool. It seemed to only be protecting the location and was only interested in keeping people away so we let it be and moved on.
Then while walking Ghaal was playing with a puzzle box he had and was not able to figure it out so the wizard gave it a try and triggered a button that caused him to disappear. Ghaal immediately followed suit. I could feel that there was a planar disturbance so I chose to activate it as well. Eventually everyone except flint the flying gun and the doll lady joined us in a weird extra planar compound where everything was a puzzle. We eventually made our way to the long abandoned living area that was still guarded by a young blue dragon that we defeated. The gold was all enchanted with a spell that teleported it back to this realm after 24 hours.
After searching around we eventually found his planar transport device that was showing the location of the puzzle box on the material plane. It seams the doll was carrying the box while riding on the flying gun and just about to reach Belfast. We activated the portal device and returned to join them.
